چکیده
1.1 Motivation The 3D modelling of objects and complex scenes constitutes a field of multi-disciplinary research full of challenges and difficulties, ranging from the accuracy and reliability of the geometry, the radiometric quality of the results up to the portability and cost of the products, without forgetting the aim of automatization of the whole procedure. To this end, a wide variety of passive and active sensors are available of which the digital cameras and the scanner laser play the main role. Even though these two types of sensors can work in a separate fashion, it is when are merged together when the best results are attained. The following table (Table 1) gives an overview of the advantages and limitations of each technology.

Camera Pose Estimation in Unknown Environments using a Sequence of Wide-Baseline Monocular Images
In this paper, a feature-based technique for the camera pose estimation in a sequence of wide-baseline images has been proposed. Camera pose estimation is an important issue in many computer vision and robotics applications, such as, augmented reality and visual SLAM. The proposed method can track captured images taken by hand-held camera in room-sized workspaces with maximum scene depth of 3-4...
متن کاملDrug Discovery Acceleration Using Digital Microfluidic Biochip Architecture and Computer-aided-design Flow
A Digital Microfluidic Biochip (DMFB) offers a promising platform for medical diagnostics, DNA sequencing, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), and drug discovery and development. Conventional Drug discovery procedures require timely and costly manned experiments with a high degree of human errors with no guarantee of success. On the other hand, DMFB can be a great solution for miniaturization, int...

The response of living tissues to the surgical trauma is associated with varying degrees of tissue repair and involves two distinct processes including replacement and regeneration. Replacement results in scar tissue formation instead of restoration of the normal architecture. However, regeneration leads to restoration of the original architecture leaving no sign of injury. Anti-proliferative a...
